Our MD, Chris Brown, has become official Patron for the History of Parliament Trust’s ‘300 Years of Leadership and Innovation’ book
The launch of the book coincides with the 300th anniversary of the appointment of Britain’s first prime minister, Robert Walpole, in 1721, and the year of Her Majesty The Queen’s 95th birthday. The book celebrates leadership across the full spectrum of British society: from Parliament and Crown to captains of industry and those pushing the boundaries of innovation.
We are thrilled that Chris has been recognised as playing an important role when it comes to leadership in Britain. Since 2014, he has been confident the future of automation was electric. Therefore, he was one of the first finance brokers in the UK to help businesses make the move to electric. After getting exclusively invited in 2017 to see the Tesla Model 3 in California, Chris knew where the future lay.
The Patron appointment comes as we continue to support all businesses making the transition to environmentally conscious assets. We are passionate about providing an all-in-one solution. Additionally, whether a company is looking for electric vehicles, EV charging solutions or renewable energy we are here to help.
The Trust’s book will recognise the journey Chris has been on in developing The Electric Broker. It is still important to know there is still a long way to go when it comes to reducing the carbon emissions from transportation across every industry.
We are honoured to have been invited to the official launch of the book at Westminster Abbey on 22nd September 2021. It includes a series of chapters celebrating the Queen’s life and achievements over the past 95 years.
What the Appointment Means.
On being featured in the book, Chris said: “It is an honour to be appointed as a patron for the official 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation book. Throughout history, the UK has always been at the forefront of innovation and revolution. I am proud to be a part of that.
“Sustainability needs to be at the heart of everything we do. We need to create a clean and vibrant future for upcoming generations. At the centre of that is how we move about. Humans are moving more now than ever. It is time to move past traditional fuel methods for more environmentally friendly alternatives.
“Being a patron of this book is a privilege and highlights the commitment to creating a better future. It shows all the important work we have already done, but there is still a long way to go.”
