However, there’s no threat of the occupants getting bored, with a range of entertainment options available. You won’t see many Audi A8 L Extended’s on the road, in fact, you’ll probably never see it. The 2016 one-off vehicle was bespoke build for a customer in Europe.

The extended A8L offers an additional 1.1 metres compared to the standard A8L model. This extra space results in a 6-door vehicle which is still capable of hitting 0-60 in around 7 seconds. In terms of luxury, rows two and three get electronically controlled seats with the rear seats getting an infotainment system.

It’s certainly something you’d expect a mayor to turn up in.

Rolls Royce might be the most luxurious car maker on the planet, and their Phantom is their standout model. For the mega-rich, the Phantom is the epitome of chauffeuring, with full customisation available, the owner can have it any way they want.

After entering through their famous ‘Suicide Doors’, the passenger is met with intricate details and high-quality materials. It truly is the personification of class, and a car most people can only dream of being driven in. To be driven around in a Phantom is the definition of luxurious chauffeuring.

Mercedes V Class Klassen

Described as the ‘S-Class for minivans’ the Klassen version of the V-Class takes luxury to a whole new level. A vehicle that is perfect for taking business meetings on the road with four seats available.

The upgrades to the long-wheelbase V-Class don’t stop there, with countless luxurious features to be found in the interior. The passengers will never have to lift a finger as voice command can control almost everything. The car comes with S-Class seats, ambient lighting, seat controls, massager, extra tables, drawers, and even a PS4.

Not the most luxurious when it comes to base models, however undeniably deluxe when modified.

If the Range Rover SVAutobiography is good enough for the Queen, it’s good enough for anyone. The top of the range off-roader is the brands most luxurious offering for passenger, with massaging seats which can recline to 17 degrees.

Furthermore, you’ll find several of the usual luxury features, such as infotainment screens for each passenger, powered tables, calf rests and a Meridian stereo system with 3-D audio technology that Land Rover says will deliver a concert-hall experience. Perfect for a luxurious chauffeuring trip.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Rolls-Royce Cullinan fits perfectly in a market which is after large, luxury SUVs. Similar to the Phantom, the Cullinan can be customized to fit any kind of equipment you might deem necessary. You’ll still get the icon suicide doors, although now you have the option to go off-roading in your £300,000 luxury chauffeuring car.

We can’t talk about luxury chauffeur vehicles without mentioning Bentley. The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase adds an additional 10 inches of rear legroom. Along with the customizable finishes on a standard Mulsanne, such as entertainment tables and 4G WiFi, the extended wheelbase gets a few additional goodies.

Additionally, the rear seats recline with aeroplane style power leg rests. The lavish centre console includes cup holders, glass-enclosed storage area and UBS ports. All of this comes with the privacy of rear seating electric curtains. All of this is everything a chauffeur passenger needs.

BMW 7 series

The BMW 7 Series takes luxury to a whole new level with its Luxury Seating Comfort and Rear Executive Lounge Seating packages. Their eight massage settings come with a ‘Vitality Programme’, which helps passengers rejuvenate their body on long road trips through instructions on their entertainment screens.

Furthermore, the BMW Comand Tablet allows passengers to control numerous features, such as seat adjustments and the infotainment system. The 7 Series truly is the high of luxury, especially when it comes to chauffeuring.
