Walking 874 miles for Wellspring Therapy & Training

2020 has been a challenging year for us all. People have felt isolated, not being able to live their lives as they knew them while the country works towards getting the virus under control. Lockdowns have resulted in many people struggling or unable to cope. We want to try and do something positive.

Today it is more important than ever that we talk to each other and we are there to support one another. As a result, our Managing Director, Chris Brown, is dedicating his time for a £5 or 5-minute initiative. From now until Christmas Eve, he is going to walk 874 miles to raise money for Harrogate-based charity Wellspring.

Wellspring is a counselling and training centre working to restore hope, develop resilience and facilitate positive change. You can find out more about them here.

Chris’ inspiration has come from his recent trip from Land’s End to John O’Groats in his electric vehicle. Unfortunately, he’s unable to recreate the journey exactly, as an alternative route, he will be walking around Harrogate every day to achieve his goal.

We need people to come together to help support the cause, whether you’re able to donate £5 or if you can call someone and have a chat. You might not realise how important a small conversation can be.
